DAHON SPEED PRO/SPEED PRO TT

The Speed Pro is the bike for the serious roadie who wants it all: a bike that can take on a century as easily as it can pack into a suitcase for travel. The custom-drawn 4130 chromoly steel frame efficiently transfers pedal power to the wheels while still offering a compliant ride. The SRAM DualDrive gearing offers 24 gears for anything from the steepest hills to hammering on the flats. And the BioLogic™ II frame geometry combined with a Syntace VRO adjustable handlebar system let you dial in the perfect riding position. Remarkable, but almost invisible to the eye, is the Kinetix Pro S front wheel which incorporates a suspension hub with 12mm of vibration eating travel so even when you have the tires pumped to 125 psi, you'll still be riding in plush comfort. The Speed Pro features flat bars with Cane Creek bar ends; The Speed Pro TT is an upgraded version featuring Kinetix Pro TT bars and Shimano Ultegra-level STI shifters.

DAHON SPEED TR

The Speed TR may very well be the most comfortable and adjustable folding bike ever produced for long-distance touring. It is designed to be fast, yet comfortable, able to carry large loads, yet portable. The new handlebar clamps and Telescope seat post allow you to adjust the bike to your exact preferred riding position. The high-volume Schwalbe Big Apple tires are fast-rolling yet soak up road vibrations. Add the Cane Creek suspension seat post and you have an unbelievably plush ride that feels like you are floating above the road. New for 2005 is a stronger and stiffer frame for loaded touring, an ultra-stiff Radius handlepost, and Magura hydraulic rim brakes. DAHON MARINER 26

Never be stuck without transportation again - the Mariner 26 is the perfect bike for all of your on-shore adventures. Designed specifically for boaters, the Mariner 26 is a full-size portable bike that folds in seconds to fit easily into any boat hold. With Shimano 21 speed gearing, GripShift shifters, Power V-brakes and even a suspension seat post, the Mariner 26 is ready to tackle any kind of terrain. So regardless of whether your next stop is a favorite restaurant in Sausalito or some trails around Mt. Tam, the Mariner 26 is up to the task. For 2004 we've upgraded the frame to 6061-T6 aluminum, making the entire package even lighter and more corrosion-resistant. (Note: While rust resistant, the Mariner is not rust proof. DAHON MATRIX

A street bike with attitude, the Matrix combines road and mountain influences for a style all its own. It's a fast and nimble bike that begs to be ridden hard. The Matrix uses the same Joe Murray designed frame as the Zero G but adds moto-style Continental slicks to get you where you need to go - fast. And when you need to jump on a bus or catch a ride with a buddy, the Matrix folds in 5 seconds.
